Today is World Autism Awareness Day. As
reported in the Boston Globe, recent studies from the Center for Disease Control find a prevalence of autism in 1 of every 88 children in the United States. Being educated on the subject can help identify and treat children on the spectrum, and can assist those not directly affected by autism understand and support our peers.
